Prof. Kankanala Ratnaiah former Rector of S.V. University has been appointed as Vice Chancellor of Dravidian University, Kuppam. He addressed the media soon after he took charge in his chamber in afternoon at 1.20 P.M . The teaching and non teaching employees and the citizens of Kuppam village gave welcoming felicitation to him. Deans and Heads of the University spoke on the occasion and briefed their agony because of the absence of VC for the last 8 months. They also made a point to make him aware of the legacy that fallen on his head and the challenges that are there on his way for the next three years. The Registrar Prof. Varadarajulu Naidu, Former Dean of Academic Affairs Prof. P. Subbachary, Present Dean of Academic Affairs Prof. G. Balasubrahmaniam and other deans and heads spoke on the occasion. The all carders of University employees felicitated their new V.C with garlands and Shawls. The Meeting that started with welcoming address of Dr. K. Shyamala ended with the Vote of Thanks presented by Dr. Palani.

This is presently maintained by Prof. P. Subbachary, Department of Folklore and Tribal Studies, former Dean of Academic Affairs, Dravidian University, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA. This blog acts as forum for scholars working in Dravidian Studies with various aspects of culture like literature, history, folklore, philosophy, linguistics and so on. Scholars are invited to interact with each other and publish your ideas, news, scholarly papers for group interaction. you can treat it as a news letter for Drvaidian Studies. A group of scholars could also be emerged online at this place.
